Welcome to No Fail Plans. Eight ways that your plans will succeed.

I'm Shane Fielder from Samurai Innovation and thank you for putting your trust into us. I look forward to walking alongside of you here to help you pick up some exciting, insightful, and very useful strategies, tools and techniques that you can apply to your planning methods; so that your plans will succeed.

Everything we do at samurai innovation is highly actionable, real world battle tested. There's not a lot of fluff. We don't like that. We don't like buying that ourselves. We don't want you to have that either,  know that everything that we're going to walk through in this course together is going to be strategic, meaningful, adaptable and applicable and something that you can go out and implement in your world today. All right. A few tenants that we share here at Samurai Innovation I think are going to be very important for you to understand is this concept of focus.

Now we have to start thinking instead of being expansive and wide, we want to narrow. Then we want to take that focus and we want to do something meaningful with it so that at the end of the day you get a result.

So, our saying here is:

Narrow the focus, widen the gains.

Narrow the focus, widen the gains. Why?

Because it's harder to bring your focus down to a select few key things that you will do and you will do meticulously well and that you will get better results. When you do that, you widen the gains. Every time you work to get more clear on what you're trying to accomplish, the path forward seems more clear and the results are better, quicker and better than you could imagine.

So it's narrow the focus, widen your gains. As we move through this course, I want you to keep that in the back of your mind because the different planning methods that I'm going to share with you are going to help you do that.

Are you ready for number two?

Structure equals freedom.

Yes, it is. Structure equals freedom.

Why?

Because without discipline, without structure, you have no freedom. If you're trying to do a hundred things, but you never accomplish one thing, what good is that?

Where we're going to be going here today is going to be eight different types of structures and thinking that you can employ.

You get better results.

Isn't that why you're here? You want to get more results.

When your structure improves and you become more focused, you widen those gains, and that gives you freedom. It gives you time freedom, financial freedom, job freedom, career freedom and promotability. It gives you more dependability and certainty. It also gives you more  confidence with the clients, customers, and the people, your stakeholders, the people that you serve.

And so again, when you put in better structures, you get better results, which equals better freedom.

All right, I'm looking forward to the rest of the course with you, and I will see you in the next module.
