Episode Show Notes: Accelerate Your Results This Week
It might be a certain calendar day for you, but it's decision day.
It's halfway through the week and it's halfway through the week where the winners come out to play. Now, it doesn't matter whether your week has been a challenging one or it's been awesome so far. We want to accomplish one thing today, and it's making that one decision that's going to carry you forward over the finish line this week.
Welcome to This Week's Plan, where we help you transform possibility into reality. We help you accomplish the right things each week so you can enjoy a more balanced life, both personally and professionally. Join in as we share real world battle tested strategies and techniques to help you center your focus, accelerate your results and improve your momentum to avoid being overwhelmed. This isn't just about making it through the week, it's about fitting it all the right things. Now here's the host of This Week's Plan Shane Fielder.
At the midpoint of every week, you have two things happening right now. You are either on top of the world right now, and if that's you, let's talk about it. How's your momentum been?
Have you been accelerating your momentum and creating dynamic results and positive energy?
Remember, in this season one of This Week's Plan, we have This Week's Plan, which is a teaching solo core technique episode, and that happens on Fridays. This episode happens on Wednesdays because the Mid Week Pivot is a critical time for you.
Accelerating your energy.
What has really gone great for you so far this week that we can push down the accelerator on so that you can cross the finish line and reach the next milestone?
That's really what we want to have happen for you today. Next, if you've had a challenging week, then I want you to think about your domino of productivity.
Yes, your domino of productivity.
Now, if you joined us for the last episode, last week, you'll remember that we talked about pushing over your next domino and all the dominos went down and people create elaborate domino games.
We're at the point that you can push over your next domino of productivity this week. Before I get into setting up this week and asking you two powerful questions that will be game changers for you, I want to remind you that this episode is sponsored by no fail planning methods by Samurai Innovation.
All you have to do is head to NoFailPlans.com. Over there we are going to help you stop hacking your way from different tips and tricks and stuff to become more productive. We're going to gift you an entire course with eight no fail planning methods. I know one of the eight is going to be the on-switch to your greater level of productivity. It's going to help you get a lot more done and you're going to ask yourself, why did I never have this before?
All you have to do is go over to NoFailPlans.com. We've covered the costs. We've purchased it for you. It's our gift to you as a listener to This Week's Plan
Acceleration time, my friend.
One key, powerful shift in your mind is all it takes.
The question I have for you this week is:
What one area of your life this week is going pretty good or great?
What one area of your life is moving a little slower?
Can you transfer the energy that's been created in the really great area of your life to the sluggish area of your life?
There is such a thing as transferrable energy.
We can say I'm winning in this part of my life, but I'm not doing so good over in this other part. Why are you winning in that one part, but finding it a bit of a tough slug in the second part?
Transfer that energy to accelerate your results.
What one area, can you transfer your positive energy, the success or the wins that you've had in the other areas into this other area so you can accelerate your results and push down on the gas pedal and cross your finish line?
If a certain area could be a project at work or a project at home or something that's happening in between, and it's going really well, what distractions can you clear away from your view so you can fully invest more of yourself into that?
Again, we want to narrow the focus so we can widen the gains. What if Shane, I'm not having the best week. What if I got some bad news? Something happened, an email changed the whole course of the week.
We're really having to pick up the pieces. We're really having to pivot and navigate this change or this new situation. That's okay. I really empathize. It happens to us all. It is really hard for us to be like a formula five hundred race car to try and rev at seven thousand RPM's every day of our week, every week of our year. It's just impossible. You're going to have some low energy periods, you're going to have some down days, and we're all going to get the email or the phone call or somebody coming in our office giving us a bad bit of news that we have to recalibrate from.
Well, you're here because you are a recalibration expert, and we are going to help you make that shift.
The one question to help you make that shift right now is:
Who else can you call or who else can help you push over your next domino?
There's somebody in the office. There's somebody on your team. There's a contractor. There's an outsourced person. There's a friend, a family member, a book or even me. There are other people around in your universe that would be willing to help you push over that next domino of productivity.
The key thing that holds a lot of great people back is they don't ask for that help.
It's okay to struggle. I want to tell you that in life, it is okay to struggle. But it's not okay to struggle in silence. That's not okay.
I want to encourage you to think about who can help you this week. And guess what? Fifty percent of the time, just talking to somebody, or phone somebody up or email them or text them and say, hey, do you have ten minutes?
I want to run an idea by you. I'm struggling with something and I think I just need to talk it out with somebody. That other person might ask you a question or they might say, have you thought about this? They may say, well, I don't know how to do any of that. That might be the thing you need is somebody that knows nothing about what you're doing to say, well, I don't know, it seems kind of weird, but why don't you do this and you'll say, aha, that's it.
That pushes your domino over, and you get more productive and you have a powerful finish to the week.
Now, I want to invite you to join This Week's Plan and become part of the show. How do you do that? It's very simple. Go to ThisWeeksPlan.com.
You'll look for a black box with a title, "Ask Your Weekly Planning Question & Become Part of the Show!"
Put in your name, email address and give me a great question. I will look forward to featuring your question in a future episode of This Week's Plan or the Mid Week Pivot.
Have an awesome week and finish strong this week.
