90 Day Sunrise Goal Challenge
90 Day Sunrise Goal Challenge
One principal that I subscribe to is: “Be Successful Before the world wakes up“. I find that this one principal is great for building focus and drive toward my goals and it will work for you without fail.
To be an example for you, I chose a unique 90 day goal that means something to me. I set a goal to capture a picture of 60 out of the next 90 sunrises. It requires me to be up and ready by about 5:30am each day to catch the sun come up over the hilltop near my house.
You may think this is odd, unique or silly. The key is that it builds focus and consistency because I need to get up earlier and be ready each day to capture this experience. Plus the sun will not wait for you or I to get up and get going. Mr. Sun has an agenda to keep and a duty to serve.
The other reason is that by doing this I will also sharpen my focus on going to bed earlier each day knowing that I need a certain number of hours of sleep for the next day.
We debut the first sunrise photo of our 90 day goal.
July 8 –This was magical because I captured it. There is a warm quiet power in the air. Within 10 minutes, the clouds rolled in and covered the sun over. Had I been minutes later, I would have missed my chance. Lesson here is show up on time or be a little early. You never know what happens or what opportunity comes your way when you are a few minutes early. This sunrise was captured using a simple smart phone 5MP camera. Sometimes in life, you have to work with what you have.
